The “WALDEMAR-REISEN“ Hunting and Fishing trips agency – an ambitious travel agency established in the year 2000 in the hunting and fishing tourism branch – organizes hunting and fishing trips to the countries of the former USSR.  The special feature of this travel business is the highly competent care for the hunting tourists by the wild biologist and hunting researcher Waldemar Weden.

Mr. Weden, German citizen of German-Russian origin, was born in the Altai area (Southern Siberia).  He grew up in Kyrgyzstan (Middle Asia), went to college in the town of Kirov (European part of Russia), and afterward worked in the Ural area as a state hunting inspector and as the chairman of a major hunting and fishing association for 14 years.  Before moving to Germany Waldemar Weden was the leader of a hunting and fishing business whose hunting ground area consisted of a total of about 250.000 hectares.  Mr. Weden still has very good personal relations to colleagues in all regions of the former USSR.  He not only knows the hunting and fishing organizations but also the businesses that arrange hunts and their staff that competently cares for their customers and foreign guests.

As a hunter Waldemar Weden was very successful.  His prey includes about 50 elks, several bears, wolfs, lynxes, wild boars, deers, wolverines, and of course also a great amount of rabbits, wood grouses, black cocks, hazel grouses, as well as water and swamp game.

Mr. Weden often accompanies groups of hunters himself and therefore can professionally handle any occuring problems in Russia.  A beneficial attribute of his furthermore is - being his mother tongue - his perfect knowledge of the Russian language.  This and his understanding and knowledge of the domestic government agencies and administration structures helps to prevent time-consuming stages of appeal.
